WELCOME TO THE CCHC WEBSITE

We hope this website will introduce you to the programs and opportunities that CCHC provides to residents of Newport County.

Church Community Housing Corporation (CCHC), a non-profit organization, began in 1969 when local citizens met to address the lack of decent, affordable housing in Newport County.  In the nearly 40 years since then, CCHC built over 1,000 homes, repaired another 2,000 and has integrated neighborhood revitalization, energy efficiency and ecologically conscious building materials into our development plans.

CCHC strives to create homes that meet the particular needs of Newport County citizens from specialized housing that allows seniors to "age in place" to homes that allow local artists the opportunity to afford spaces to live and work.  Moreover, CCHC works to create opportunities for home ownership and home maintenance through home buyer training, downpayment assistance and low interest home repair loans.

So please look through our website and see if we have something to help you.
